The experience had its bumps. The automatic car park didn’t recognize my number plate, which was a stressor before even getting to the room. Once inside, I found the temperature control quite disappointing. the lack of adjustable cooling made the room feel uncomfortably warm during the day. Breakfast was a challenge too—arrivals during busy periods left a lot to be desired as food ran out quickly, and there were frustrating waits for tables. I also noticed some inconsistency in dining hours, which threw off my plans a couple of times. And don’t get me started on the state of cleanliness—some areas in my room needed attention, making me question the hotel’s upkeep. a decent stay, but it felt like opportunities were missed.

Had a great stay at Scandic Fornebu! Loved the breakfast buffet with a stunning fjord view. The staff was super helpful too. Just wished the room had better temperature control, it felt a bit chilly at times. But overall, fun experience!

Waking up to panoramic views of the fjord was a true delight. The breakfast buffet, with an incredible selection, was something to look forward to each morning.

I noticed some maintenance issues in my room that needed attention, and the absence of a kettle for tea was quite inconvenient during the evenings.

Oh, breakfast was a real winner—it was a glorious spread with tons of vegetarian options, including heavenly gluten-free dishes! I also loved the location on the waterfront, which provided a stunning backdrop for my meals. Plus, having access to free bikes was a fantastic touch to explore the area!

I found the family room’s furniture kinda mismatched, and the lock on the room was broken. I was told that staff were removing all locks for security reasons, which seemed a bit off since they have master keys already. A weird move, but I guess they’re just looking out for us, right?

The breakfast selection was top-notch, showcasing everything from smoked salmon to a variety of berry yogurts. The hotel's location is prime, with breathtaking views of the fjord right from the dining area. Clean and spacious family room made our stay enjoyable, especially with access to hiking trails nearby.

I was part of a group. The Standard Double Room was good, with a comfortable sofa, flat-screen TV, and a nice view of the inner courtyard. The accessible shower was great. Loved the fitness centre and the buffet breakfast was top-notch with smoked salmon and various berry yogurts. The reception was quick and very helpful during check-in and check-out.
